NSSE
The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) aims to assess and improve the quality of higher education.
Background
NSSE measures students' levels of engagement with their institution. Every three years, NSSE obtains information from our first and final-year students about their participation in programs and activities that UCalgary provides for their learning and personal development.
The University of Calgary is committed to participating in NSSE and addressing the results that we receive from our students.
NSSE 2026
The 2026 cycle of NSSE runs from February 2026 into the Spring semester. The NSSE survey link will be shared via email to qualifying UCalgary students on February 26, 2026. Students who complete the survey will be eligible to win!
- First 25 students to complete the survey:
Win a UCalgary prize bundle including a $40 UCalgary Bookstore gift card, tote bag and Yeti travel mug (total bundle value $110).
- All surveys completed by March 24:
Will be entered into a draw to win one of six $500 Everything Cards.
- All surveys completed by April 17:
Will be entered into a grand prize draw for one of three $1,500 Everything Cards.
