UCalgary Course Experience Surveys

Your feedback matters.

By providing your feedback from your course learning experiences, you're helping ensure strong teaching and learning in our curriculum.

Course experience surveys are one way that the university, and your instructor, receives input on their students' learning experiences. This feedback can be used to make changes to courses, update reading materials, or simply bring your perspective to an instructor's attention.

If you have an urgent concern, or one not addressed below, please contact your department or faculty leadership with your situation to get specific support.

As we update to new technology, there is a brief window where course survey results will not be available for surveys administered in the new technology between Fall 2023 to Spring 2024. All releasable reports will be available in Fall 2024. All previous year reports remain available.

Students can view past reports through the MyUCalgary Student Portal once they are registered and have access to the portal.

Course feedback surveys happen at the close of Block Week courses and in the final quarter of courses each academic term. Students will receive an email from UCalgary Course Feedback Surveys when surveys are available. Pop-ups in D2L will also alert students when they have surveys to complete.
